MIKAEL ROSENIUS

CEO, Owner and Founding Partner

Mikael is a Finnish citizen who gained his Masters degree in Economics at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Hanken in 1992. In the same year he started his career as a project analyst at Wärtsilä Oy in Helsinki. Between 1994 and 1996 Mikael worked for Wärtsilä France from there he moved to Wärtsilä Power Development in London where as Senior Development Manager he was tasked with project financing of power plant projects in emerging markets. Mikael moved to Bank Hofmann in Zürich in 1999 where he headed the Finnish Private Banking business. In 2003 he was made Partner at EFG Bank in Zürich where he stayed until 2012 steadily growing the Nordic business and developing financial solutions for the banks private and institutional clients. In order to better serve his clients and develop the Nordic Business Michael together with his partners set up Amplia in 2014.

MICHAEL ROSENLEW

Co-owner, Senior Advisor

Born 1959, Michael Rosenlew is a Finnish citizen and has a M.Sc. (Econ) from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration, Hanken. A large part of Michael's career was spent as partner and later managing partner of the leading Scandinavian Private Equity firm IK Investment Partners (previously know as Industri Kapital). Before this he worked as Group Controller at Amer Oyj and CEO of Lundinvest Oy. He is now primarily a professional board member and private investor. Until recently, Michael served as board member of Pöyry Oyj and Stockmann Oyj, and as chairman of the board of Caverion Oyj.

JENNY ERDIN

Client Support

Jenny has been working in various back office and front office functions in the financial industry since 1990. Her background in both treasury operations as well as accounting and as assistant in various private banking roles gives her a uniquely solid foundation for understanding and helping our clients and providing administrative support for our organization.

AKI KOSTIANDER

Aki graduated with a Master of Economics with speciality in finance, econometrics and information technology from the Swedish School of Business and Administration in Helsinki/Vaasa. He started his career in 1994 at Gyllenberg Asset Management Ltd in Helsinki where he worked as a fixed income analyst and mutual fund manager. From 1998 until 2001 he worked at Mandatum Bank and became the Managing Director and CIO of Mandatum Fund Management Ltd. Between 2001 and 2003 he worked as CIO and Managing Director for Pohjola Asset Management from where he changed to an entrepreneurial career establishing a mutual fund company that was acquired by Aventum Partners Ltd in 2008. Aki ran Aventums Mutual Funds as Managing director until 2010. The Aventum Mutual Fund co. was bought by United Bankers in 2012 where Aki founded UB Real Assets Management Ltd where he worked as a Managing director and CIO responsible for real assets private equity and mutual funds. Aki left UB in 2019 and has lived in Switzerland since 2021 when joining Amplia.

GUSTAF DYBING

Gustaf is a Swedish citizen. He holds an economics degree with a specialization in finance from Lund University in Sweden as well as a SAQ Certified Wealth Management Advisor certificate. After graduation in 2008 Gustaf moved to Switzerland and joined UBS and their Fixed Income team in Zürich. He has held various positions within UBS where he gained substantial experience in various aspects of the wealth management industry enabling him to provide his clients detailed and insightful advice in managing their international investment portfolios. Gustaf is joining Amplia from the UBS Nordic clients desk in Zürich where he has advised Swedish and Nordic HNW private clients and institutions. He is married and lives in the Zürich region with his family.
